Site Preparation

Prior to every installation we take the time at the design stage to do a site inspection to ensure the placement of the signal system does not interfere with any underground or overhead utilities. If there is interference we take the correct steps in contacting the local municipalities to either have the utilities moved or compromise with the railroads equipment.

In addition we ensure that the placement of the bungalows and signals allow for proper drainage to eliminate a washout or flooding. This may require installation retaining walls or culverts to allow the water to drain correctly.
